Catherine E. Beecher - She was the daughter of Lyman Beecher, a well known evangelical preacher, and Harriet Beecher Stowe was her sister. Her feelings were that women should not enter into public life to promote anti-slavery policies, but should use their influence in their domestic circles through the implementation of their "superior moral sensibilities."end-1

Lydia Maria Child -1802-1880. She was a leader in the abolitionist movement among women. She was an editor for the National Anti-Slavery Standard for two years, and published numerous books.

Maria W. Chapman - Maria was a leader in the Boston Female Anti-Slavery Society.

Elizabeth Emery - Elizabeth was the president of the Andover, Massachusetts Female Anti-Slavery Society.

Angeline E. Grimkč - She was a leader among southern women abolitionists. Her and her sister both contributed to the anti-slavery movement.

Eliza W. Jewett - Eliza W. Jewett held many positions among different female anti-slavery societies including Secretary and even President.

Henrietta Sargent - Henrietta was a close friend of Lydia Maria Child.
